Architectural Engineer, researcher in the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Bologna. She teached at the Design Faculty of the Politecnico of Milan and at the Faculty of Engineering of Bologna. Her interests are focused on representation and on the use of multimedia technologies to communicate architecture and Cultural Heritage.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate the representation of maintenance, taking the social housing of Bologna as case studies. These examples allow to develop this topic around a particular category of buildings that belong to modern period as far as formal and technological solutions are concerned, but that have inherited local and morphological characteristics that have made them integrate in the local urban context.
