Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • All text files are in .doc or .docx format, all images are in .jpg format.
    Use italics for titles of books, articles, works (the titles are always mentioned in the original language, keeping the Shift in foreign languages) and in the case of terms that you want to highlight. Avoid quotes "words", using (when necessary) italics to emphasize words. All pictures, illustrations and tables must be placed in proper position within the text, with clear references within the text, rather than at the end of the text.
    When available, the URLs to access references online are provided, including those for open access versions of the reference. The URLs are ready to click (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca).
  • The bibliography has been prepared in accordance with the indications available at "FULL TEXT SUBMISSION".
  • The curriculum of the author/authors is no longer than 350 characters including spaces, both in Italian and English. Keywords of the contribution are in Italian and English, for the purpose of indexing.
  • The author claims to have read the copyright notice published on the platform of the journal and to have cited sources properly, including any other work.

Author Guidelines

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION. Authors must send:
1. a resume in .doc or .docx or .txt format
2. an extended abstract of no more than 4.000 characters (including spaces, 4.000 keystrokes) about the contribution to be proposed in .doc or .docx or .txt format. All materials can be sent via email to the Journal Manager (disegnarecon@unibo.it).

FULL TEXT SUBMISSION. Authors selected by the Scientific Board, must proceed with the submission of the full text on the web platform of the journal,  carefully following the instructions below:
1. Authors have to register as "authors", at this link. Once the registration has been completed, the system will automatically send a confirmation email.
2. After receiving the email of successful registration, authors have to log in (using the menu at the top right), with the username and password entered during the registration process (it is recommended to log in using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as browsers, which are perfectly compatible with the web platform of the journal. Otherwise problems may occur during the log in). Authors will then proceed to the submission of the full text through the compilation process, both in Italian and English, as indicated in the guidelines that can be downloaded in pdf format here.

The full text will be considered valid ONLY IF submissions are processed through the web platform of the journal. Any other form of full text submission to the journal will not be accepted.

AUTHOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES: Authors accept to submit contributions to the journal that have not previously been published in other sceintific journals or books.
Authors guarantee that both articles and images are not subject to copyright.
The citation of sources and any other work is under the responsibility of the authors.

Editors of DISEGNARECON reserves the right to make editorial changes that are deemed appropriate, agreeing those of greater importance.
