Knowledge is the key-tool in the conservation process of a cultural heritage like the case of a cemetery that is largely injuried by times; in this environment it is important to adopt planning and design tools to understand and manage both the artistic value of artifacts and both the historic value of memory. Data coming from field surveys and measured drawings can be collected in a G.I.S., an information core that can act as an integrated management system for planning. Documentation and measured drawings make part of a data-base that allows hypertextual links, like allocation of memory in cells, and become a digital museum with thematic itineraries and information about monuments.Downloads
